L’Artisane: A Hidden gem on the Streets of Coral Gables
Looking for a nice little spot to get away from the daily rush hour traffic? Tune in, and let me tell you all about this place!

Located on the busy street of Ponce de Leon, is a hidden delight that in my opinion, not many people are aware of. L’Artisane is a French Bakery with a mission to give it’s local community the taste of sweet vegan treats.
That’s right,
This store proudly advocates for animal rights by providing an assortment of vegan goods to their community.
You wouldn’t begin to imagine my shock when I first found out that all the sweets in the bakery were vegan! I mean, just take a look.

I happened to find this little store, when my boyfriend was vegan and it really was such a pleasure to come across it. It gave my boyfriend the chance to feast on the creamy goodness of treats that he had long forgotten!
Recently, I went with my boyfriend once again, and the bakery is still as I remember it. The decorative light compliments the jazzy ambiance in an amber glow, and with their renovated seating, comfortability has been never been better.
So enjoy a pastry treat with some coffee in this aesthetic little shop, because it has been nothing but pure joy for both me and my boyfriend.
Now, let me tell you a little bit about the shop!
L’Artisane is Vegan Bakery that was founded in 2018. It’s goal was to introduce the infamous street, Ponce De Leon, the taste of exquisite French vegan delicacies. On their website, their mission statement says that they want to show the community that “…you don’t have to compromise on taste to make ethical choices,” which shows just how dedicated the the bakery is to its morals.

– The founder of L’Artisane, Chef Carolina Molea perfected her craftsmanship whilst working at some of Miami’s most respected hotels, one of these being El Cielo.
– With her passion founded through her grandmother’s expertise in herbs and spices, Chef Carolina Molea was determine to pursue her culinary passion in French cuisine. L’Artisane is the embodiment of Chef Carolina Molea’s determination and success in her culinary career. And she proves that tasty treats can still be made whilst advocating for animal rights.
However, with the rise of Covid-19, the bakery struggled to make ends meet, and the business was on the verge of collapse. Having been forced to close her business, Chef Molea began to seek out help through social media webspace, finding a solution through a commenter on Instagram.
With the help of a regular customer, Adam Groh’s, Chef Molea was able to restart her business, using a subscription-based snack box allowing her to branch out and sell her products to the homes of her customers. The snack boxes brought Chef Molea great success, and shortly after their launch, she was able to reopen shop.
